Col. James T. Connally Aerospace Center

The Col. James T. Connally Aerospace Center at Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in Waco offers state-of-the-art classrooms, labs and simulators, as well as public-use facilities. The facility is 82,500 sf and in combination with the TSTC Waco airport, further enhances TSTC’s reputation as a nationally recognized technical college. The facility was constructed using conventional wood stud framing with masonry and exterior metal cladding. The hangar was constructed as a pre-engineered metal building.

Terminal B South Concourse Replacement

United Airlines Terminal B Southside Replacement replaces the original concourse built in 1966. Terminal B is 225,000 sf and incorporates 30 gates, seating areas, and retail and dining spaces. The building is supported by structural steel and masonry on spread footings and drilled piers.

West Concourse

William P. Hobby Airport West Concourse includes five gates and a new Federal Inspection Services (FIS) facility. The project also includes a two story building with five "swing gates" able to direct passengers arriving from outside of the US to a new FIS facility for US Customs and Border Protection of the first floor. Other features include a renovated lobby, an additional 16,000 sf for concessions, an expanded and reconfigured security screening checkpoint, and a new wing for Southwest Airlines passenger ticketing that can be accessed from the new parking garage. The concourse consists of a cast-in-place concrete pan formed beam system. The roof of the concourse was constructed out of structural steel.

Terminal C North Concourse

The United Airlines Terminal C North Concourse replaced the old terminal. The new terminal is 318,000 sf and incorporates 11-passenger boarding gates, lounge areas, and retail and dining spaces. The concourse consists of a cast-in-place concrete pan formed beam system. The roof of the concourse was constructed out of structural steel.
