The Guy V. Lewis Development Facility supports the athletic department at the University of Houston. The facility 52,000 square feet and three stories. It includes two basketball practice courts and baseball operation facilities. The building was constructed using structural steel framing supported on drilled piers.
Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park is the home stadium of the Texas Tech Red Raiders baseball team in Lubbock, Texas. The stadium was renovated to include 10 luxury suites, a new press box featuring radio and television broadcast booths. Five rows of seating were added to the front of the grandstand. The renovation was constructed using structural steel framing supported on drilled piers.
The TDECU Stadium at the University of Houston replaces the old Robertson Stadium on the same site. The new stadium has 40,000 seats. The stadium space houses club facilities, 26 suites, 34 loge boxes located throughout the stadium, press box facilities, locker rooms, meeting rooms, concessions, central commissary and the UH Athletics Ticket Office. The elevated stands are designed to be expanded in the future for an additional 20,000 seats. The stadium was constructed using cast-in-place pan formed concrete beams spanning to cast-in-place columns and structural steel framing supported on spread footings.
Kyle Field Stadium received a major renovation and expansion increasing the seating capacity to almost 103,000 seats. The renovations included 12 New Legacy suites, 20 new east side suites, 70 new west side suites on 3 levels and 140 loge boxes. The stadium also received new club seats: 2500 seats at the West Side Club, 300 seats at the Lettermens’ Club and 400 seats at the East Side Club. The stadium redevelopments also included a new press box, a 100 seat Presidents suite, and 100 seat Board of Regents suite, new team locker rooms and recruiting lounge, new lower bowl seating and 4 new video boards.
