Emmanuel “Manny” Hernandez oversees structural design and coordination for major infrastructure and civic projects. As Rogers DeSimone’s primary point of contact for contractors, he ensures effective communication, the timely completion of deliverables, and engineering excellence for structural design projects from concept through construction.

Manny’s specialized experience in the design of steel and concrete structural systems for airport terminals has made him essential as the project manager for the transformation of Terminal B at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and the Metro MOW facility in Houston, where he also focuses on optimizing cross-discipline coordination across the project team.

Manny’s previous experience includes several high-profile developments in Texas, including the Mickey Leland International Terminal at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Lynn Wyatt Square Performing Arts Center in downtown Houston, and Addison Airport Fixed Base Operator. His earlier roles also included design and engineering support for community centers, libraries, and university facilities throughout the state.

Manny earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Texas A&M and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
