Senior Project Engineer
Combining technical rigor with collaborative coordination, Yi Wang plays a key role in delivering structurally complex projects at Rogers DeSimone. As a Senior Project Engineer, she leads advanced analysis and design efforts, prepares construction documents, and manages internal and external coordination through all project phases.
Yi specializes in high-rise residential towers with concrete framing and brings experience across educational, aviation, and civic buildings. Current projects include the Lakefront South Condominiums in The Woodlands, the Sports and Engineering Complex at Emery Weiner School, and the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) Skylink expansion at Terminal F.
Previously, she contributed to the structural design and construction of the Hawthorne Condominiums and the Sunnyside Health and Multi-Service Center in Houston, as well as the Mickey Leland International Terminal at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Additional experience includes mixed-use core and shell development projects across Texas and Florida.
A licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, Yi holds an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS from Colorado State University.
